SOL RESORTS may collect personal data via the Website www.solresortsonline.com (otherwise known as the “Website”) from any person (hereafter the “User”) addressing online enquiries to Sol Resorts or booking a hotel reservation with Sol Resorts.
Collection and treatment of personal data provided by Users to SOL RESORTS through the online enquiry form or the booking reservation system are governed by Mauritian Law.

Purpose of Data Collection
SOL RESORTS collects Users personal data via the Website for the following purposes only:
- answering online inquiries & processing reservations,
- sending information about Sol Resorts’ hotels & self-catering accommodation,
- allowing Users to make a reservation with Sol Resorts.
Required information (principally first name, last name, address and email) must be entered in the information fields marked with an asterisk in data collection forms. If these fields are not completed, SOL RESORTS will be unable to address User requests.
Retention of data
Personal data is retained by SOL RESORTS for the period of time required for the purposes described above
Data recipients & confidentiality
SOL RESORTS is the recipient of User personal data as above. Such data is kept strictly confidential & in line with GDPR requirements.
The booking engine, SynXis, a product of Sabre Hospitality, is also fully compliant with the GDPR laws.
SOL RESORTS will not send User’s personal data to a third party unless:
- the User has given his/her prior approval to share such personal data with a third party.
- SOL RESORTS has to share the User’s personal data with such third party in order to provide the services requested by the User or answer its request. This being in the form of the voluntary transfer of information.
- SOL RESORTS is required by a judicial authority or any other administrative authority to transfer User’s personal data to such authority.
The Website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.
